Victorian photo album, antique Germany late 1800's to early 1900's, 49 photos

Absolutely stunning glimpse into the past! This is a cabinet card photo album from the late 1800's to the early 1900's from Germany. In addition to the leather bound album decorated with a pewter cherub on the front, it is full of 49 items, including mostly cabinet cards, photos, and at least one super rare German post card. This seems to be a family photo album, mainly of pictures of marriages, children and people, and one dog. There is even a wedding photo with a black wedding dress that was popular in the time period.

This antique album is over 130 years old, and it certainly does show it's wear. The unique photos in this album are rare and well preserved. I did not take out and inspect the backs of every item in the album, for fear of destroying the very delicate items. There is at least one photo with a 1914 date on the back. When you purchase this piece of history, it will come as is, and in antique condition. The album measures 10.5" X 8" X 2.5" thick, the binding is separated
